Since 2007, the buildings at Nexus have been designed to achieve high Green Star and NABERS Energy ratings. A new benchmark was set with the development of 1 Nexus Court, which was the second building in Victoria and the first office building outside the CBD to be awarded a 5 Star Green Star AS-Built certification

Reducing energy. We are committed to investing in energy efficiency. Our aim to reduce our costs and ecological footprint while still delivering high levels of quality and comfort

Reducing waste and material consumption. We are always looking at ways we can achieve not only our own goals towards waste reduction, but also those of our tenants.

Reducing water. At Nexus, we work hard to enhance the sustainable and efficient ways we use our plane’s precious water resources.

Improving indoor environment quality (IEQ). Excellent IEQ inside each building helps tenants feel more comfortable – from the lighting to the views, we consider each detail at an early design stage – understanding optimal IEQ creates better productivity, a greater sense of wellbeing and staff retention.

Relax and recharge at your own pace. We know that a connection with nature has benefits for our health and wellbeing which is why the natural environment is an ever present part of life at Nexus.
